But 2022 is coming to an end and we want to know: of all of our articles, which are the best of the best? Our machine intelligence, social media, and editors can get us close. But we want that extra special touch that comes from beloved reader feedback.

Judging Criteria

We're judging posts that we see to provide the highest value to industry professionals. Does your article include useful and actionable information? Is it tactical or strategic? Does it provide short- or long-term value? Those are the types of questions our judges will be asking themselves.

PROCESS AND TIMING

Submitting content for consideration

To nominate an article, please fill out the Typeform above. Articles must have been published between October 18th, 2021 and October 12th, 2022 to be eligible.

Nominations are open until October 12th. After that, our panel of judges will review the nominations and narrow them down to a list of finalists for each category.

Voting

Finalists will be announced on November 14th. Once finalists are announced, we will open up voting to our readers. Voting ends on November 28th. Winners will be announced on December 14th.

You Mon Tsang

Founder & CEO of ChurnZero

You Mon is the founder and CEO of ChurnZero, which helps subscription businesses fight churn with a real-time customer success platform. Before ChurnZero, he was the CMO of Vocus (now Cision) and CEO of its marketing automation business unit, OutMarket. He is a serial entrepreneur, having founded four software companies, including ChurnZero, Biz360, and Engine140.

Julie Norquist Roy

CMO and Independent Board Advisor, Infrrd

Julie Norquist Roy has over 25 years' experience creating repeatable, predictable value and a high impact client and brand experience for global software technology organizations. She has run Marketing at four different $1B+ SaaS companies and has participated in successful exits, including IPO and acquisition. Roy currently serves as an Independent Board Advisor for high-growth SaaS companies Infrrd and Northpass, as well as interim CMO for Infrrd.

Peter Cowen

Managing Director, Sutton Capital Partners Inc.

Peter has been a technology investment banker, angel investor and mentor for over 20 years. He has advised dozens of entrepreneurs in selling their businesses, raising capital and strategic planning on deals totaling over $1B. He has also been on the board of directors of over a dozen venture and private equity-backed businesses with a focus on SaaS, FinTech and the infrastructure around these industries. Peter founded Sutton Capital Partners to focus on advising SaaS and Fintech companies that have a deep vertical solution reflecting the founder’s expertise. Sutton Capital Partners often focuses on preparing companies for a transaction through strategic consulting to optimize the outcome and to clarify expectations among a myriad of options.Before his investment banking career, Peter co-founded three companies: Data Voice Solutions (computer networks) Biometric ID Inc (security) and TransDecisions (logistics optimization)— that were sold to strategic buyers, including two public companies. Prior to that, he worked in marketing at Hewlett Packard and Unilever, and with the Israel Export Institute to help market Israeli technology to the U.S. Peter has made 100+ angel investments in early-stage companies and 12 seed venture capital funds. His investments include Postmates (sold to Uber), Brex, Flutterware, Cognition (sold to Nuance NSDQ: NUAN), MindBody Inc (sold to Vista Equity), Style Haul (sold to Bertelsmann), Provention Bio (NDSQ: PRVB), Docupace (sold to FTV) and Pulse Biosciences (NSDQ: PLSE). He also was a founding member of Tech Coast Angels (TCA), Los Angeles, part of the largest angel investment group in the country. Peter is Senior Faculty Advisor at UCLA Anderson School of Management teaching entrepreneurship where he has been teaching since 2008. He cofounded the annual RECURRING REVENUE CONFERENCE IN 2015, which is one of the largest tech conferences in Southern California. Peter has a BA in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. He holds his Series 7, 79 and 63 licenses.
