“My App Stack” is a new series where we dig in with top CMOs, CROs, CTOs and CEOs on just what apps they’re really using to run their business.  I always learn a lot from these — they are in essence a best practices list from each leader.

This week we have Sarah Scharf, VP of Marketing of Vanta!

#1.  What’s your core stack of apps today?

I’m using Asana, Google (Docs, Analytics, Slides, etc), Webflow, 6 Sense, Salesforce, Hubspot, ReferenceEdge, Slack, and probably many others.

#2.  What’s the number one top new app you’ve added the past year?

ReferenceEdge has been new for me this year.

#3.  Other than your own, what app would you never let anyone take away from you no matter what:

Asana – our team lives in it and it keeps us in sync.

#4.  What’s your top “undiscovered gem” — an app you love but others may not have heard of?

User Evidence which helps collect high value references, case studies, and more.

Sarah Scharf leads product and brand marketing for Vanta – the company on a mission to secure the internet and protect consumer data.

Previously, she worked across a number of product marketing teams at Google, where she led projects including:
*Rebranding the Android platform and debuting our new identity at Mobile World Congress
*Producing large-scale consumer keynotes from Google I/O to “Google for” stages in India, Indonesia, and Brazil
*Launching new privacy, security, and account settings used by billions as the first dedicated PMM

Scharf loves working on really hard problems with really smart people and is passionate about building and developing happy, high-performing teams. Outside of the office, she’s a competitive equestrian, a decent but enthusiastic home chef, and a champion of Dry Creek Valley Cabernet.
