“My App Stack” is a new series where we dig in with top CMOs, CROs, CTOs and CEOs on just what apps they’re really using to run their business.  I always learn a lot from these — they are in essence a best practices list from each leader.  Last week we had a great one with Jack Moberger, Director of Enablement at Algolia, check it out here.

This week we have Udi Ledergor, Chief Evangelist at Gong!

#1.  What’s your core stack of apps today?

A sampling of some of the apps Gong uses most frequently includes:

#2.  What’s the number one top new app you’ve added the past year?

This year, many companies, including Gong, have been focused on how to optimize and drive value with existing tech stack investments, rather than adding new tools. One app we did add this year was Madkudu, to change the way we prioritize what leads Marketing sends to sales.

#3.  Other than your own, what app would you never let anyone take away from you no matter what:

Chili Piper. We leverage Chili Piper for a few different use cases but the most powerful is the ability to let prospects schedule meetings directly from our website when they are requesting a demo or pricing. Chili Piper allows us to streamline the process from form fill to first meeting and decrease the drop off that you would normally see within this process.

#4.  What’s your top “undiscovered gem” — an app you love but others may not have heard of?

UserGems. One of Gong’s operating principles is to “create raving fans,” and we have more than 4,000 of them. UserGems allows us to track when a champion leaves a customer account and lands somewhere else – thus opening up new relationship dynamics and opportunities.
