Frizbit is a marketing orchestration platform that allows users to reach their buyers on a highly personalized level via web push notifications, email, and SMS. It’s targeted at ecommerce businesses and assists them to bring customers back to their site. Compared to its competitors, Frizbit is not the best value for money. But it does bring features to the table that others don’t. With this in mind, we would recommend Frizbit for ecommerce businesses looking to hyper-personalize their marketing communications.

Frizbit: The Good and The Bad

In our research, we’ve found that Frizbit has a mix of benefits and drawbacks. With that being said, most users love the software, but note areas in which it would be great to see Frizbit improve. Let’s take a deeper look at what these may be.

The Good

Web Push Notifications: If there’s one thing that Frizbit is known for, it’s web push notifications. Frizbit helps you to automatically connect with every single visitor to your website. Better yet, web push notifications reflect your company branding so your brand is prominent in the customer’s mind from the get-go. There are also endless customization options that allow you to reach customers at different stages of their buying journey.

Hyper-Personalized Notifications: One of the things Frizbit is most well known for is its hyper-personalization capabilities. No matter whether the communication is a web push notification, email, or SMS, you can hyper-personalize it to each individual buyer. You can even connect with users that aren’t registered with your site.

Robust Segmentation: You’ll never have to send bulk communication to subscribers ever again! Frizbit allows you to segment communication by area, product, buying behaviors, and even browsing behaviors. As long as you’re collecting lots of data from your buyers, the segmentation options are endless.

Attentive Customer Support: Although there is not a lot said about customer support on its website, our research has shown that Frizbit customer support is extended via live chat and email. The customer support team is quick to reply and always happy to help. Furthermore, when you sign up for a plan, you’ll also be put in touch with a dedicated account manager to assist you with the installation of the software and the onboarding process.

Free Trial: Another thing we love about Frizbit is the free 14-day trial it offers on all three plans. There is no better way to understand whether certain software is the right fit for your business than to undertake a free trial.

Free Integration: Integrating Frizbit with your favorite existing software is made easy with Google Tag Manager. Some users reported struggling with this step, but fortunately, Frizbit customer support is more than happy to step in and organize the integration for you, for free!

The Bad

No Self-Service Installation: At this point, users can’t download or install Frizbit on their own. You need to schedule a call with your dedicated account manager who will remotely carry out the onboarding process with you. Although the lack of self-service installation is somewhat inconvenient, many users reported the process to be quick and painless and the onboarding quite useful.

A/B Testing Limitations: Although Frizbit does include A/B testing on two of its plans, users have reported that there is currently no option to include the timing of when the content is delivered to buyers within the parameters of the test. Most users admit it’s not a huge issue, but it would be a nice addition to the A/B testing functionality in the future.

Not Great Value for Money: At first glance, Frizbit’s paid pricing plans don’t appear to be too expensive. After all, you can get started for just $49 per month. But when you dive deeper into the inclusions of each plan, it begins to feel like you’re paying quite significantly for features that you could have using a competitor while paying less.

For example, when you compare Frizbit’s $99 plan with Omnisend’s $99 plan, Omnisend clearly includes a lot more features and therefore is better value for money. Where Frizbit holds the edge over its competitors, is the level of customization and hyper-personalization it offers. If this feature is extremely important to you, then Frizbit is the better choice, regardless of the lack of features compared to other software.

Frizbit Pricing

Frizbit offers three pricing plans to suit businesses of different sizes and needs. If you’re a smaller business without the budget for one of Frizbit’s paid plans, it does offer a freemium version that allows you to utilize its web push notifications. But let’s take a look at the paid plans first.

The Basic plan costs $49 per month for up to 5,000 subscribers. The plan includes:

  • Manual campaigns
  • Unlimited web push notifications
  • Native opt-in
  • Scheduling
  • Tag-based segmentation
  • Custom branding.

As the inclusions are somewhat limited, the Basic plan is ideal for smaller businesses who want to focus their efforts on maximizing web push notifications.

The Automate plan costs $99 per month for up to 100,000 site visits per month. The Automate plan offers more robust features than the Basic plan and is Frizbit’s most popular option. Some of the plan’s features include:

  • Five triggered campaigns
  • Unlimited web push notifications
  • Email & SMS Marketing
  • Webhooks
  • Hyper-personalization
  • Behavioral segmentation
  • A/B testing

It’s important to note that email and SMS marketing are both pay per use with no indication of what the additional fee may be.

The Enterprise plan is best for larger online businesses that want to reap the full benefits of robust multichannel marketing software. The price of the plan is custom-built around your needs, so you’ll need to contact Frizbit for a quote.

The main difference between the Automate and Enterprise plans is that a lot of the features that were limited in the Automate plan are now completely unlimited. Some of these unlimited features of the Enterprise plan include:

  • Triggered campaigns
  • Hyper-personalization
  • Behavioral segmentation
  • Conversion tracking
  • Data history

You’ll also have access to A/B multivariate testing, behavioral analytics data, and AI-powered optimization. If you like the sound of these features, get in touch with Frizbit for a custom quote today.

One thing we don’t love about Frizbit’s pricing plans is the considerable jump between the Basic and Automate plans. We’d also anticipate that the jump to the Enterprise plan is considerate too.

Of course, you do get access to better features on the Automate plan, but it’s important to remember that you’ll still have to pay per use for SMS and email marketing. In general, we prefer plans that have really clear-cut rules as to what is and isn’t included.

The great news is, you can test out the different tiers with a free plan before you financially commit. So if you want to make sure Frizbit is the right software for your business sign up for a free 14-day trial!

Frizbit Offerings

Frizbit Marketing Automation

How would you like to automatically draw buyers back to your website? Whether it’s to entice prospects to return to their cart or to encourage existing customers to buy a new product, Frizbit’s marketing automation features can help you achieve your goal.

With Frizbit marketing automation, you’ll be able to target users by their behaviors to draw them back to your site. For example, if a prospect has abandoned their cart without payment, Frizbit will create urgency around the product on your behalf.

Some other scenarios in which Frizbit’s marketing automation will come in handy include:

  • Product retargeting
  • Category retargeting
  • User retention
  • Cross-sell or up-sell
  • Seasonal campaigns
  • Welcome campaigns

What we like more about Frizbit is that you can automate your marketing across multiple channels. Whether your customers are reachable via email, SMS, or web push, Frizbit will send your messages automatically at the perfect time on your customer’s favorite channel.

With these follow-up campaigns on autopilot increasing your sales conversions, you’ll be able to focus your time and energy on introducing new products to your buyers and building your business.

Frizbit Hyper-Personalization

How often have you received a non-personalized promotion communication from a product you were interested in purchasing and scrolled on through your inbox without opening it? Now imagine if the promotion was personalized directly to you. You’ll likely open the email out of intrigue.

Hyper-personalization enables you to connect individually with each of your prospects tailoring the message perfectly to encourage re-engagement and customer loyalty.

With Frizbit, the hyper-personalization opportunities are extensive. You can address each of your buyers personally while also personalizing the message to include the products they’ve directly engaged with. You’ll then be able to schedule the communication to reach them at their typical time of engagement and on their favorite device.

Frizbit also allows you to hyper-personalize messages via the preferred language of users, their location including time zone and city, and their demographics such as gender, age, civil status, and birthday. We’re yet to find another marketing automation platform that offers as extensive hyper-personalization capabilities as Frizbit.

These features mean you have way more opportunity to reach your prospects not only in a targeted way but also in a way that makes them feel valued as a consumer. The more relevant your message is to their cause, the more likely they are to purchase your product.

Frizbit Web Push Notifications

While email and SMS marketing requires you to collect contact information from your prospective buyers, web push notifications allow you to reach any person who browses your website. They do need to opt-in to your messages, but after that, you can trigger a push notification at any time.

The benefit of this is that shoppers who want to remain anonymous can do so, but you still have the opportunity to instantly retarget them and retain them as a customer. In fact, Frizbit claims that web push notifications can reward you with ten times the return on investment!

The great news is that although you haven’t collected personal data from these users, Frizbit still allows you to hyper-personalize the message based on what the buyer is doing at every step of their buying journey. With Frizbit, web push notifications are automatic and take just minutes to set up.

Frizbit’s web push notifications are supported by multiple major browsers such as Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, and Microsoft Edge. You can even target users browsing on their mobile devices.

One of the things we love more about Frizbit’s web push notifications is that they’re completely free. So even if you don’t have the budget for one of its more inclusive plans, you can still use Frizbit’s web push notifications to retarget and re-engage your buyers.

Frizbit Automated Email & SMS Marketing

Multi-channel marketing has the great benefit of allowing you to reach your buyers on whichever channel they are most engaged with. For some, web push notifications will do the trick, but for others, the extra nudge via email or SMS is what encourages the sale over the line.

Frizbit includes automated email and SMS marketing on its Automate and Enterprise plans. As with Frizbit’s web push notifications, you’ll be able to create and trigger various messages to buyers depending on their browsing behaviors.

The additional benefit that email and SMS marketing offer is the ability to personalize the message with the buyer’s name. You can also include a custom URL with a personalized call to action. Not only does this make it extremely easy for the buyer to complete their purchase, but it also offers a way for you to measure the performance and effectiveness of each campaign.

The only negative thing to report on Frizbit’s automated email marketing is that it doesn’t automatically include email templates to assist users in building attractive, on-brand emails. Reportedly, Frizbit does have templates it can share with users, but it is not readily available within the platform. Most people don’t have spectacular design capabilities so this could be a frustrating hurdle for users to overcome.

Summary

Frizbit is a great solution for any ecommerce platform that wants to retarget buyers across multiple channels. Users will be impressed with the endless customization capabilities and reap a significant return on investment thanks to the hyper-personalized messaging. Aside from extensive personalization opportunities, Frizbit’s greatest feature is the free and unlimited web push notifications.
