Streaming is way up … even in SaaS.  So what are The Top 10 SaaStr Videos of the Week?

Let’s take a look on what you need to get caught up on!

#1: “The Cadence: How to Turn Your SaaS Startup into an Army” With David Sacks.  This was a great session from NewNewVenture.com this week where David walks us through what he learned at Yammer, PayPal, and more on how to navigate from 50-500 employees.  A classic already.  Watch it.

#2: “Decacorns & Unicorns in 2020: Founders Fund Keith Rabois and SaaStr’s Jason Lemkin”.  Another terrific New New session, and one of the most insightful and open conversations with Keith I’ve seen.  We talk a lot about where things really are today, why and how things are and will bounce back, and more.

#3: “Seed Investing Today: What’s Changed, What Hasn’t with Aileen Lee and Jason Lemkin”.  A great NewNew session with Aileen where we hear a bit of a conservative approach to investing now, and a great discussion on how the “Covid Beneficaries” aren’t always those we expected:

#4: “Fundraising During a Pandemic with Point Nine Capital Managing Partner Christoph Janz”.  SaaStr long-time favorite Christoph Janz shares detailed, tactical ideas on how to fundraise better now over Zoom and more.  More transparency, more data, and more.  This was the #1 highest rated session from New New:

#5: “Lessons from Logikcull: $0 to $10M in 19 Months: The How, When & Why + 10 Mistakes Along the Way”.  One of the most honest sessions from a SaaS CEO that has gotten to tens of millions of ARR the hard way, from a services business.  I was the first investor in Logikcull and know Andy well, but hadn’t seen his top mistakes put together this way.  It really resonated with the SaaStr community:

#6: “Adjusting your Sails to Navigate Today’s Choppy Waters with Chris O’Neill”.  Chris is new to VC but one of my favorite operators, the prior CEO of Evernote, and one a group of super-respected Google alumns that have gone on to run many of the top web companies.  At first I didn’t know what Chris was going to get at specifically, but as I got into this session, I became truly inspired to think about how to be a better leader and manager.  It’s a good one.

#7. “How to Market to Customers Small, Medium, Large & Extra Large”.  A SaaStr classic with the prior VPM of Box, Lauren Vacarrello.  This was an opener for SaaStr 2017, and is a terrific primer on how to market to multiple sized customers at the same time … a challenge so many of us struggle to get right.

#8. “Flexport: How to Build a Truly Global Business From Day One”.  This was a great session with Flexport’s iconic CEO, Ryan Petersen.  It took a while to get up on YouTube so just got up this week, and it was one of my favorites from Annual.

#9. “Scaling up Sales Managers: 5 Mistakes New Leaders Make with CircleCI”.  This session from SaaStr Europa exceeded all my expectations.  Jane Kim, VPS at CircleCI talks about all the challenges you’ll have scaling your sales team, the mistakes they made, and how to push through them.  Really one of the better sessions from a sales leader at SaaStr in a long time.

#10. “The PPP You Really Need for Raising Seed Money During a Pandemic with Satya Patel, Homebrew”.  This was one of the most practical looks at seed investing right now I’ve seen, and it’s a great session.  Satya sees seed investing on fire right now, albeit only in pockets and for certain types of start-ups:
